Annual Dues

It's that time of season again to renew and pay your annual membership dues. For those members who prefer to pay for their dues annually and in a onetime payment, dues need to be paid in full by March 15th or late fees will be charged.

For those members seeking flexibility and convenience in paying their annual dues, we are excited once again to provide a flexible option in renewing your membership. Starting in February 2012 we are providing the membership a monthly renewal payment option. The monthly renewal option will allow you to spread your payments out over 7 months, but with the first and last months payment made on February 24th. This payment plan will be by pre-authorized payments by credit card or chequing account on the 24th of each month for the months February thru July. There will be a 2.5% administrative fee for this option.

Membership Fee and Categories

Family Membership - $921.93

(does not include fee for children)

Single Membership - $632.36

Single Parent Membership - $632.36

(a person unmarried, separated, widowed or divorced; does not include fee for children)

Preferred "A" Married Membership - $496.90

(person 60 years or over - Married - plus 20 continuous years of membership)

Preferred "A" Single Membership - $333.53

(a person 60 years or over - single - plus 20 continuous years of membership)

Preferred "B" Married Membership - $750.48

(a person 60 years or over - Married - fee includes spouse, but not children)

Preferred "B" Single Membership - $512.12

(a person 60 years of age or over - single)

 

Initiation Fee:

This is a one time only fee charged to new members. The cost is $389.11 for single memberships and $778.22 for family memberships. This cost is in addition to the membership fees stated above.

 

Reinstatement Fee:

The member can be reinstated within a five year period. The member can be reinstated once the current dues have been payed a reinstatement fee of half of the entrance fee will be charged. The cost is $194.56 for single memberships and $389.10 for family memberships.

 

Capital Assessment:

Each adult member (excluding associates) have been charged a $15.00 annual fee, which has been included with the regular membership fees. This is to provide a capital fund for future improvements and/or expansion.

 

Associate:

An associate is a child of a family, single parent or preferred B married membership who is still living at home. Ages 3-18 years is $60.74 for 19-24 years is $121.45. Children reaching the age of 25 years (before 1 March 2010) must apply for their own membership. Entrance fee is payable, but there is no waiting if they were a member last year.

 

Full time Babysitter:

Available only with the following criteria; must be full time ( ie:same person), allowed access to the grounds only when accompanied by the child/children and is usually for children 12 years and under.  Fee is $121.45. 

Annual dues and charges are payable in advance on the fifteenth (15th) day of March in each year. A member whose dues or charges are in arrears shall not be entitled to enjoy the privileges of the Club. After March the fifteenth (15th), the member must pay a reinstatement fee, which is half of the current year's entrance fee, in order to reinstate their membership and enjoy the privileges of the Club.

Note: Invoices are mailed out the first of February of each year, if you do not receive your invoice or if your address has changed, please notify the office as soon as possible.

 

Replacement of membership cards:

 Only obtainable with written authorization of parent. The cost is $12.00 per card. Please impress upon your children the importance of holding onto this card. A card can never be used by anyone except the person in whose name it is issued. When giving the membership card to your child, please remind him/her that proper conduct is expected and that behavior and attitude problems and failure to follow the direction of staff will result in suspension. We are selling landyards at the office this year to attach your membership card to, the cost is $5.00 each and hopefully will result in fewer lost cards.

Guest Passes

As part of your Waeg membership, members will receive a number of guest passes to use at your discretion for any friends or family members you may wish to use our facilities during the year. Guest passes allow the guest to enjoy and access all our facilities, from pools to tennis courts.

Once those are used, additional passes are available for purchase. The Guest passes cost $10.00 per day for a single guest pass and $30.00 per day for a family guest pass. Members will be able to sign each guest for a maximum of 5 times per season.

Grounds Passes

Also included as part of your membership, grounds passes may be picked up at the Manager's office

and entitle the guest to have access to the grounds, including our catering facilities and walking around the property. There is no cost for grounds passes, therefore, please feel free to pick up as many as you like and have them filled out prior to your guests arriving at the Waeg. The member must accompany the guest on the grounds at all times. Grounds passes are available at the main gate and the Manager's office.
