At Waegwoltic Sailing we focus on providing instruction in a fun, safe and positive environment. We strive to teach practical theory and on-water skills while emphasizing camaraderie and a passion for the sport. Our lessons are taught in accordance with Canadian Yachting Association standards by fully certified instructors.

One Weekend Program:

Duration: 1 Weekend

Prerequisites: None

A new program! Get ready for the summer sailing season, whether your looking to brush up on your skills or learn your way around a boat before sailing with friends. The class will be divided between on water sailing and practical lessons. Sailing will be done in the 420, a two-person dinghy. The boat is responsive yet comfortable, and perfect for beginners. The lessons are meant to be an introduction to sailing for those who have little or no experience, but will be tailored to the needs of the group.

 

Two-Week Program:

Duration: 2 Weeks per session

Prerequisites: None

This is our classic adult sailing program. The class will be divided between on water sailing and practical lessons. Sailing will be done in the 420, a two-person dinghy. The boat is responsive yet comfortable, and perfect for beginners. The lessons are meant to be an introduction to sailing for those who have little or no experience, but will be tailored to the needs of the group.
