LSS CPR/First Aid Certification: Winter Session I
This winter we would like to offer our adult members the opportunity to get their Life Saving Society Basic First Aid Training level and CPR-B training certification.
First aid training enables you to deal with injuried and medical emergencues at home, work or play. The Basic First Aid Cert. covers how to contact medical services, rescue breathing, how to treat choking and minor injuries.
CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) -B Cert. (Adult, Child & Infant): Teaches how to do CPR and choking procedures for adults, children & infants and introduces the purpose of an AED and when to use it.
These certifications are designed to meet the needs of both the public and professional rescuers, like lifeguards. Susan Mosher, the Waegwoltic's Aquatics Head, will be the certification teacher for this class.
